During the 1960s and 70s, MotoBi’s off-road activities focused on rugged 2-stroke models for the mass market. Following the merger with Benelli (1962), the brand produced popular 50cc Cross bikes and the 125/250 Scrambler series. Known for simplicity and reliability, these bikes were exported to the US under the Wards Riverside label. Unlike their famous 4-stroke road bikes, these off-road models featured conventional vertical cylinder designs.
