As part of a restructuring of the KTM Group, the trial factory team will be officially discontinued after the 2025 season in order to focus on industrial processes. Production will increasingly be relocated from Spain to Austria.

Production of the "old" GasGas Enduro models is being sold to Spanish competitor Rieju, where they will continue to be produced as Rieju MR models. GasGas is switching to the KTM platform. KTM is also acquiring the remaining 40% stake.

The KTM Group (Pierer Mobility AG) acquires 60% of GasGas shares from Black Toro Capital.

Severe financial turmoil leads to a temporary halt in production and the insolvency of GasGas. Shortly thereafter, the company is taken over by the Torrot Group.

French company SIMA (Marcel Seurat), which was the general distributor for Ossa from 1974 to 1980 and currently represents Cagiva, MV Agusta, and Husqvarna, will also become the importer for GasGas.

After SWM was forced to close, GasGas began building its own models based on SWM designs.

Following the demise of Bultaco, GasGas now imports SWM machines from Italy and has become the Spanish distributor. 

Narcis Casas and Josep Pibernat founded GasGas, a motorcycle shop, and distributed Bultaco machines. Casas was Spanish Enduro Champion ("Todo Terreno") seven times in total. He is considered one of the best Spanish off-road riders of his time. Pibernat was also a top rider in the Spanish Enduro Championship. Both were Bultaco factory riders.
