The workshop in Bennekom developed lightweight competition motorcycles with Sachs engines, which were particularly successful in the 50cc and 125cc categories in off-road racing and motocross. He not only built engines and frames, but also complete competition machines, which became very well known in the Dutch motocross scene.

The importer for Italy (and France?) was Nello Fortunato, who attempted to launch his own models after the end of Rond-Sachs. The Italian market was practically the only commercial sales market for Rond, which exported 95% of its production there.

Unlike many other brands, whose memory has been lost and whose actual production can only be guessed at, everything is known about Rond, including chassis numbers, production data, and import data in Italy.

Documents from that period show that exactly 384 models arrived in Italy, divided into three versions: GS 50 (183), GS 100 (11), and GS 125 (190), while total production was slightly over 400 units.

However, it should be noted that in 1975 only the frames were exported, while Nello delivered the wheels and engines directly to his workshop in Torre Boldone.
