Italian company Brembo is acquiring Öhlins for around US$405 million in the largest acquisition in the company's history to date. Brembo wants to become a "system provider." By combining brakes (Brembo/Nissin) and chassis (Öhlins), the group can offer integrated, electronically controlled complete systems for driving performance.
Menzaghi Motors, which had owned the rights to the Aspes brand since 2008, is being liquidated.
After two years with GasGas, De Carli Racing is now officially the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team again.
KTM is in a massive financial crisis and will be undergoing restructuring under its own management at the end of 2024/2025.
